This workshop will give an overview of how the United Nations and its agencies are addressing sexual exploitation, the system of prostitution, and the male demand for it. 


Surveying human rights principles and international law aimed at protecting the rights of women and girls, the workshop will examine the challenges and failures of UN agencies in this field and the strategies needed to ensure that the UN fulfills its stated commitments.
