When and where is the 4th World Congress?

The 4th World Congress will be from June 1st to June 3rd, 2024 in Montréal, Québec, Canada.

Where the World Congress is taking place?

The 4th World Congress will take place at the Marché Bonsecours, downtown Montréal. The closest metro stations to the venue are Champ-de-Mars and Place d'Armes (orange line).

How much does the 4th World Congress cost?

Access to the plenary sessions costs CA$60 for both days (June 2nd and 3rd), and CA$100 with lunch included for both days. If the ticket price exceeds your financial capacity send an e-mail to worldcongress@cap-international.org and we will reply shortly to apply for a Solidarity Pass.

Are financial assistance options available for those unable to afford the full price?

If the ticket price exceeds your financial capacity send an e-mail to worldcongress@cap-international.org to apply for a Solidarity Pass. In the subject line, please write 'Solidarity Ticket Application'. There is no need to describe your personal situation. You will receive a response within a few days.

Is the 4th World Congress accessible to people with disabilities?

The venue is accessible for people with reduced mobility and includes an elevator. Please specify any additional requirements in the registration form.

Which language is used at the 4th World Congress?

Each presentation will be translated in French, English and Spanish.

What are the transportation options in Montreal?
  • Taxi: Taxis are readily available throughout Montreal and can be hailed on the street or booked through various taxi apps.

  • STM (Société de transport de Montréal): Montreal's public transportation system includes a network of metro lines and bus routes operated by STM. For more information on routes, schedules, and fares, visit the STM website HERE.
     

  • BIXI: BIXI is Montreal's bike-sharing system, offering public bikes for short-term use. Users can rent bikes from and return them to docking stations located throughout the city. More info HERE.

I need a visa to travel to Canada, what are the steps to get one? 

The first step is to officially register to the Congress by buying a ticket. Afterwards, an official invitation will be sent to you with specific indications. The next steps will be different depending on the country you apply from.
